妖怪すごろく『百鬼妖怪肝試雙六』が漢字ミュージアムで遊べる！
The yokai sugoroku game “Hyakki Yōkai Kimodameshi Sugoroku” can be played at the Kanji Museum!
こわいけど不思議な魅力のある妖怪たちが、すごろくになりました。
開催中～10月13日（月・祝）まで京都の漢字ミュージアム企画展「妖怪漢字」内にて、実際に遊んでいただけます。また7月19日（土）、20日（日）開催の「祇園物怪市」、さらにその後の通販で販売予定。江戸時代に楽しまれたすごろくの形式で楽しむ、古いようで新しい妖怪すごろく。家族や仲間と遊んでもよし、飾って眺めてもよし！

Scary yet irresistibly charming yokai have been turned into a sugoroku game!
You can actually play it at the Kyoto Kanji Museum’s special exhibition “Yokai Kanji,” running from now until October 13 (Monday, a public holiday).
It will also be available for sale at the “Gion Mononokeichi” event on July 19 (Saturday) and 20 (Sunday), with online sales to follow. Enjoy this old-yet-new yokai sugoroku, rooted in the sugoroku format popular during the Edo period.
Perfect for playing with family or friends, or even as a decorative piece to admire!

What is “Hyakki Yōkai Kimodameshi Sugoroku”?
すごろくは日本の伝統的な盤上遊戯（ボードゲーム）です。
サイコロを振って、出た目にしたがってマス目にあるコマを進めていき、早くあがったほうが勝ち。
『百鬼妖怪肝試雙六』は、江戸時代のすごろくの形式で、江戸時代の絵師・鳥山石燕の絵をもとにして作りました。どこか懐かしく、でも新しい妖怪たちと出会いながら、ゴールをめざしていってください。
Sugoroku is a traditional Japanese board game.
Players roll a die and advance their pieces according to the number rolled, with the first to reach the goal winning.
The “Hyakki Yōkai Kimodameshi Sugoroku” is crafted in the style of Edo-period sugoroku, based on illustrations by the Edo-period artist Toriyama Sekien. Encounter nostalgic yet fresh yokai as you aim for the goal!

How to play “Hyakki Yōkai Kimodameshi Sugoroku”
「百鬼妖怪肝試雙六」は、お子様から大人の方まで、どなたでも気軽に楽しめます。
“Hyakki Yōkai Kimodameshi Sugoroku” can be enjoyed casually by everyone, from children to adults.
①参加人数分のコマを振り出しにおいてさいころをふろう
②さいころの目のマスに進む
③さいころの目の行き先がなければ一回やすみ
④河童と泥田坊のマスは一回やすみ
⑤鬼一口の目がでると食べられてしまい、その人はゲームオーバー
⑥上がりのマスへ一番早くついた人が勝ちになります
- Place a piece for each player at the starting point and roll the die.
- Move forward to the space indicated by the die.
- If there’s no space matching the die’s number, skip one turn.
- Landing on a Kappa or Dorotabo space means skipping one turn.
- Rolling an “Oni’s Bite” results in being eaten, and that player is out of the game.
- The first player to reach the goal space wins!
